Happy New Years everyone! Hope everyone had a great 2011, a new year starts, new goals, new challenges. New year to look forward to. Last night I went with my Uncle to have a Bar-B-Que at his girlfriends house, we were there till like 12:30am then we left to the family ranch. We had a very great time. Got to see some family I haven´t see in a while. We had some cold beers, we danced, joked around, talked and even met new people. I didn´t sleep at all last night. We came home at around 10:00am I took a shower and went to bed for like 2 hours only. I had a great time with my family and friends. I can´t think of a better way to start a New Year than with family.
I did get some bad news last night. I have a cousin who is younger than me, but we always go out together, drink together, we are sisters to each other. A week ago she told me we needed to talk, i asked her if she wanted me to call her she said no, that later in the week we could talk face to face. So last night we talked she said is gonna be my new neighbor, which I love. She also said she hadn´t been feeling well lately so she went to the Dr. to get a check up. She was told she need chemotherapy, She doesn´t know what her sickness is just yet. She said she is afraid that her hair is gonna fall out. I honestly didn´t pay much attention to what her sickness is, cause i was just trying to stay strong for her, didn´t cry in front of her, but now that I´m typing this i have tears in my eyes. She said that her and her mom are gonna go out of town to consult another doctor about her condition and to see a new doctor that gives her a drug so her hair won´t fall out while she is in Chemotherapy. It pisses me off that she has to go through this. She is barely 18 years old, she just got married in September. she has her whole life ahead of her. I told her she has my full support in anything she needs. Anyone out there who reads this, I ask of you for a prayer for my cousin, her name is Perla. I love her so much, she is a little sister to me. I´ll be praying for her everyday!
