Well, today I was thinking a lot about The Travolta Family and the recent tradegy that has happen to their family. Their 16 year old son, Jett, has passed away, on the 2nd of January of 2009. We made not personally know the Travolta family but I am asking everyone for their prayers for this great Family. This is something no parent should have to go through, especially in the begining of a New year.
1--Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
2--We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8
3--He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1-2
4--God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear… Psalm 46:1
5--After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:17
God Please Bless this family with glory, help them through the lost of their son, give them strenght to trust you and have faith in you. Show them the way to you.
